Characters

Julie D'Faerwyn is the current head of the Faerwyn family and the mother of Eleanor. Laura Firlake is a housemaid and the gardener of the Faerwyn family and Sofia's older half-sister. She's perceptive and well-informed but not very talkative. She considers both Eleanor and Sofia her little sisters.
